Amazing how much they fit into a relatively small store, you can pretty much get whatever you are after there, from fresh fruit and veg, packaged meats as well as a large gourmet deli counter. Prices are really good considering the city location and the convenience. Couple short term parking spots at the front door as well as all the parking on Hutt Street. Store is well managed and a credit to the owner. Very high standard set by this store. Shelves always fully stocked, good range of produce/products, very clean and well presented with very helpful staff all at reasonable prices. I can see why it has won awards, you couldn't really ask for more. A real little gem of a store in the Adelaide CBD.

My favourite little IGA in town. Staff, service and location is fantastic. Great spot to grab an affordable lunch to take back to the office if you work nearby. The freshly made on site wraps are in high demand and sell out quickly. Fully staffed at lunch time so you are not wasting your lunch break in queue. Large selection of healthy ready made meals to take back to work or home for dinner. Open from 7am until 10pm, I live and work locally so this really is a little gem of grocery/convienstore.

It’s great have a IGA which has extended operating hours compared to the Coles and Woolworths on weekends.

Love my local little convenience IGA. I actually have another closer to home but this store is so much better. Fruit and veg always full and fresh. Great array of home goods and dinner options plus friendly staff who hurry to open a second cashier as soon as there is a queue.

Great service, great coffee and the biggest doughnuts you may ever see. If you are lucky enough to have Samantha make your coffees buy her a doughnut as she one of the good ones!!

Great deli selection,particularly the sweets on offer! I held everyone up at the checkout with online banking hassles and the staff were very nice about it. Store could be better laid out, bursting at the seams - possibly the reason they only have one trolly - that's all that fits in the shop.

I often shop here after Uni. I always get a delicious sandwich from the deli. The family that own this supermarket are really nice and friendly.

The absolute best service and nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are always friendly and the fruit and veg always fresh and full. So much to choose from for lunches. You can tell the owners put all their heart and soul into this supermarket. Well done !

Huge thank you to the team at IGA City East. Samantha, you are absolutely lovely — so friendly, helpful and really knowledgeable about the products. Thank you as well for the beautiful red leaf for outside. A big thank you also to the young man who carried my shopping out to the car, and the beautiful young lady at the checkout who was so kind and welcoming.
